The new "Blacklist"

The new "Blacklist:" surfboards are in.  We have good stock from sizes ranging 5'6" to 8'2" . This board offers a displacement hull bottom running the first 1/3 of the board, flowing into a flat are through the belly, ending in a soft Vee out the tail.  Surf it off the tail and you get a nice old school 2+1 ride.  Put some weight on your front foot and hold on as the displacement kicks into gear.

We include custom fiberglass with foam honeycomb cell fins with every board.

We have had such a great response on this model, I have ordered more boards up to 9'6".  They should be here in September.

Santa Barbara County gem

Another great shot of Mike Pitassi surfing a rare barrel in Santa Barbara County.  These were the days when you sometimes hoped someone else would be at the beach surfing so you could share your fun.  I surfed this break many times with just my surf buddy Matt Chapin.  Don't think I will disclose this break, you can still get it uncrowded on occasion.

Bruce Fowler V8 Surfboard

The V8 continues BF's 5 year design campaign exploring what he terms "The Possibilities of the In Between".
Harkening back to the original Aussie V Bottoms, Fowler retained the best attributes from the short lived design while incorporating a modern foil and some heady plane geometry.  A healthy dose of "secret sauce" has produced one unique and ultra fun wave catching speed demon that has garnered rave reviews in Cali, Florida, New York & Japan.
"This lean machine is designed to be turned from the middle, with control and stability coming from a forward position: quite the opposite to most of today's surfboard designs.  The V8 V-Bottom is NOT a longboard or a displacement hull!  Everything behind the trailing edge of the fin is about quick release, allowing for carving rail turns and incomparable speeds in small soft surf. V8's can also deliver some fresh impressive surfing on larger flat faced waves."

The good old days

Growing up in Santa Barbara gave us great days of surfing uncrowded point breaks.  Look closely, 3 guys out, you don't see that anymore.
