We have good stock from sizes ranging 5'6" to 8'2" . This board offers a displacement hull bottom running the first 1/3 of the board, flowing into a flat are through the belly, ending in a soft Vee out the tail. Surf it off the tail and you get a nice old school 2+1 ride. Put some weight on your front foot and hold on as the displacement kicks into gear.

We include custom fiberglass with foam honeycomb cell fins with every board.

We have had such a great response on this model, I have ordered more boards up to 9'6". They should be here in September.
Another great shot of Mike Pitassi surfing a rare barrel in Santa Barbara County. These were the days when you sometimes hoped someone else would be at the beach surfing so you could share your fun. I surfed this break many times with just my surf buddy Matt Chapin. Don't think I will disclose this break, you can still get it uncrowded on occasion.WaveFront Surf Shophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05488078151355712915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963171708311365105.post-19513562007367349902015-07-07T08:54:00.001-07:002015-07-07T08:54:25.737-07:00Bruce Fowler V8 Surfboard

If you look at the 60's with my perspective, it was an age of innocence as far as drug use; not at all like the horrible cartel (and government) backed mega million dollar corporate machine that preys on our youth today. We were standing strong against the accepted norms of war and injustice as we looked at the world around us in a new way, not unlike the way Van Gogh, Renoir, Manet, Degas, Monet, and others embraced impressionism while initially under the influence of Absynth, then without it, as they continued to develop some of the finest art the world has ever known.

All of the custom orders for the Daily Dose are filled, and we are starting to have stock on the floor. It has been a crazy 3 month's with so many custom order's. When we did get a stock board in, it did not last on the rack for more than a few day's. This is a 6'1" and will most likely be gone quick. In my 9 years of owning WaveFront, I have not had a board that has got so much positive attention. Come in and take a look at Russell Hoyte's new board.

We are very happy to now offer Craig Angell Surfboards at Wavefront Surf Shop. Craig has been a top surfer and sought after shaper in our area for many years. His rich knowledge of surfboard design and impressive shaping skills combine to produce beautiful, high performing surfboards. Craigs models range from shortboards to his fine classic noseriders.

This noserider is a board Craig has shaped for years, and is the same model he rides. The "Trim Edition" model turns great, noserides and trims with speed.WaveFront Surf Shophttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05488078151355712915noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1963171708311365105.post-30248103923098688542013-08-15T09:51:00.000-07:002013-08-15T09:51:08.399-07:00Adam Davenport mowing some foam

I will always tip my hat to shapers who are old school. Grab the plainer and start mowing. No computer cut blanks, just the know how from experience.

Not much surf going on, but the 50 brewers attending brought some killer beer. We had 3 booths and showed a good selection of our boards.
Well it is that time again, crazy crowds, traffic everywhere. The worst part of Fair is it is really hard to get to Point because they block off all the roads, traffic is crazy, and no parking anywhere for under $10.00. If you are one of the smart ones, you walk or bike it in, and score uncrowded waves for 12 days.
Check out the surf, uncrowded is not the norm here.
